GPT-4 is currently available in a limited format with a premium ChatGPT Plus subscription. Businesses will be able to use it in their products once the waitlist is complete. It is also known that Microsoft's search engine bot Bing Chatbot is already running on GPT-4.
Difference Between ChatGPT and GPT-4
ChatGPT has become very popular since November of last year. This conversational chatbot can provide stories, text, computer code, dialog, i.e. any text based output from the prompts given by the user. But the answer is not always correct. ChatGPT is based on GPT-3.5, a large language model.
OpenAI reported that GPT-4 managed to rank 90th in the Uniform Bar Exam, a lawyer certification test. Besides, this new model will suggest 82% less “disallowed content”.
OpenAI said in an announcement video that GPT-4 can take much larger text input than its predecessor and generate up to 25,000 words at a time. Earlier ChatGPT could generate a maximum of 3000 words. It is also made more secure.
"This is a system that can dream, think and give you ideas via text," said an OpenAI employee in the announcement video.
The new system can also provide answers based on images, but this feature is not yet publicly available, according to OpenAI. GPT-4 is designed to answer difficult questions simply, the company said.
