Xiaomi 13 Lite Comes with Flagship Features at a Mid-Range Price
Xiaomi 13 series is coming globally to more new markets. Along with this, the new member of this series is Xiaomi 13 Lite. This phone is basically the sequel of Xiaomi 12 Lite, in which performance and camera improvement will be seen.
The “Lite” in the device model name suggests that it is a mid-range device, but it is almost half the price of the Xiaomi 13. Let's know the details about the Xiaomi 13 Lite phone.
Xiaomi 13 Lite is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. Compared to the Snapdragon 778G processor used in the 12 Lite, the GPU of this new processor is 20% and the AI performance is 30% more. However, LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage remain the same as before.
The device will be available in two variants – 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Out of the box, the phone will see MIUI 14, but it is based on the older Android 12.
In the camera section, the Xiaomi 13 Lite features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor which we have already seen in many premium phones. Thanks to its 1/1.56-inch sensor with 1.0ยตm pixels and f/1.8 aperture, it can capture 123% more light than last year's 12L 108MP sensor.
In addition, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor that provides a 119-degree field of view. There is a 2-megapixel macro camera, which remains the same as last year.
The front of the phone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera, along with another 8-megapixel depth sensor. Thanks to two cameras, there is an island-style camera like iPhone in this display. This additional sensor will provide natural-looking bokeh in selfies. The field of view of the camera is 100 degrees, which will be very convenient for taking group selfies.

The Xiaomi 13 Lite phone has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display. It's a 12-bit panel that features Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support as well as 68 billion color rendering. It can use PWM dimming so the display can hit up to 100nits of peak brightness.

Xiaomi 13 Lite phone is very light in weight, only 171 grams. That is, it has preserved the status of its "light" name. The phone will be available in light blue, light pink and black colors. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage base variant of the phone is priced at 499 euros.
